Dear Tory Burch,
I couldn't help but notice in your beautiful family photo on
SaksPOV that your youngest son has large dark circles under his eyes. I'm concerned for your little guy.
You see, I have a little guy too, and my son used to have dark circles. I took him to the doctor where he tested a 5 for LEAD in his blood. His doctor ordered an increase in his iron consumption (to process the lead) and we had to move out of the Manhattan brownstone that we called home.
I'm shocked that a
Tory Burch brand wallet at Neiman Marcus was found to have 200 times more lead than the legal limit and so I'm wondering if this might be the cause of your son's dark circles? You see, lead needs iron to leave the body, and anemia can cause dark circles under the eyes.
I'm concerned for your son. I'm concerned for my son and I'm concerned for the children of all the Mom's that are buying your products in bulk.
Tory Burch brand is in the position to be highly successful (with a 100% US product) because that's what Moms like me are looking for. I'm happy to 'roll up my sleeves' to help Tory Burch brand move production to America.
Luxury designer Nanette Lepore has been tremendously successful manufacturing in NYC. I know moving isn't easy, cheap or fun. I also know that your customers would respond well to your brand if you took this step for their well being. You sell products at a premium price in luxury department stores and your customers deserve better.
Great article. Lead in products is a very serious issue and I hope that Tory Burch takes the necessary step to make changes.
